Bloggin’ it
True to my commitment to myself, I’m moving closer toward my goal of making a larger percentage of my income from magic. I’ve been spending way too many hours not sleeping. On the rare occasion that I do sleep, I’m dreaming about Max Maven, Erdnase, Playing Cards, and so many other weird things.

Every spare moment I have is dedicated to creating magic, teaching magic, performing magic, and thinking about magic. Hopefully this will increase the amount of  stuff I’ll feel like writing about in my blog. I’ve been a bit of slacker…

For those who don’t know, here’s the link to my blog. Check it out. The latest entry is pretty darn funny if I do say so my self.

Clever Eight DVD Update
Brad and I spent several hours the other day planning out the details of the upcoming Clever Eight DVD. Brad dug up some of his classic stuff. Some of it, I’d never seen him do before, and others was stuff that I remember from years ago when we first met. It was one of the reasons I became interested in his work and him as a friend. Plainly put, he’s a darn clever guy, and very intelligent. I love the way he thinks about magic.

After several hours at Chili’s, one performance of Card on Ceiling for our waitress, and 814,000 diet cokes, we’ve decided on the material for Clever Eight and will begin shooting early fall, maybe even late summer.

Gemstones Update:
I just got a call today from Jay Sankey. He said that Ian has been super busy editing Gemstones and that we’ll have a first draft of the editing by the end of next week. So we’re still on track.

Stone Cold Magic E-Book Update:

As most of you know, the e-book companion to the Stone Cold Magic DVD was released a few weeks ago. It is now available for download in 3 new places. First, of course, it can be ordered from my website. However, it is now also available at Elmwood Magic, Lybrary, and Hidden Bookshelf.

Both Elmwood Magic and Hidden Bookshelf have a virtual bookshelf which keeps track of everything you download, so if you lose a download, you’ll be able to login to your account re-download it. The download section is relatively new on both of these sites, so takes some time, while you’re there and check out other downloads and products:

Check out Elmwood Downloads and Hidden Bookshelf Downloads

For those unfamiliar with Lybrary, they are a huge resource of e-books. Probably the most interesting recent exclusive Lybrary.com release is A Magical Upbringing an ebook about June Barrows Mussey aka Henry Hay from “The Amateur Magician’s Handbook” fame. Go to Lybrary and check out my e-book and the vast selection of other e-books available there.

Stone Cold Magic Product Testimonials:

For those of you who haven’t decided if and when to add some Stone Cold Magic to your collection, I thought you might be interested in some of the things people are saying about some of our products on The Magic Cafe.

Speaking of the cafe, I’ve been involved in a few lively threads, so if you care to join in the fun, you can check out my most recent posts on the cafe.

Enjoy this month’s issue… There is a ton of killer stuff you don’t want to miss out on.
