Staff Growth:
This has been a big year for Stone Cold Magic. We’ve grown from a staff of one to a crew of five awesome staff members. The creative team has always had some great effects and ideas, and has spent time testing and grooming ideas in front of live audiences. However, it was the appearance of some Stone Cold Magic effects on Jay Sankey’s “Underground Jam” that brought us attention.
Product Growth:
A month or so after the Sankey’s world-wide release came the very local release of Stone Cold Magic on DVD. However, it quickly started gaining momentum through forums and regular visitors to stonecoldmagic.com.
A few months later Murphy’s Magic Supplies is distributing the DVD world-wide, and it should be available in no more than a couple of weeks to your favorite magic shop. Along with the DVD is an invitation to sign up for this very newsletter that you are reading! Following all this excitement, two new products are in the works for release 2007.
Lecture Schedule:
Along with the release of the new products, there will be a lecture tour scheduled. However, the lectures will likely be slim this year, but pick up greatly in 2008. There will be future updates in the “SCM News” section in upcoming issues of this newsletter, so watch out for them. Details about the new products and the lecture schedule will be here soon.
