My nephew started laughing, he thought I was setting up a trick or gag. I didn’t give it much thought until now. Interesting thoughts. As for the ‘I cant tell you’ line, that seems like if said wrong it could be sarcastic, like I don’t need to tell you how awesome you are because you obviously already know it. It would have to be said with genuine sincerity or could be easily taken wrong.

Oops, I’m shouting and my kids are still asleep. This is great. I want to type but I don’t know what to say. This goes right along with your “Ritual” article. It is all about answering how do we as the magician command our surroundings?

To take a look and see how people watch us even when we are not performing is quite interesting. As people who are in the spotlight we have the opportunity to lift people up and make them feel good or give them encouragement even when we are not on “the stage”.
