This problem not only hasn’t gone away, it’s probably worse now than before. (No, I don’t think it’s worse because you wrote about it before!) And of course, you looked at it from a slightly different direction this time, bringing a different urgency to it.

After all, a “crusading publisher” doesn’t avoid returning to certain themes (crooked politicians…but I repeat myself) because he’s written about it before.

I’ve been writing this thing since July 2007. That’s darn near four years . . . there’s bound to be some repeats. Remember the two times I wrote two totally different versions of The Saga? I’ve totally lost me marbles. Of course saying that I “Lost” them implies that I had them in the first place . . . I didn’t.

Obviously, a lot of folks didn’t get the message the first time. I’m seriously thinking of starting a contest of sorts, with people relating the worst magic performance they ever saw.
