Let me know how it goes. @Magicman - Both DVDs are good for restaurant. However I think I would go with Gemstones. A) More variety, B) More In the Hands stuff. As for the Visa Receipt, it's on the gemstones site which is password protected. The password comes with Gemstones. @Salmononius2 - That is correct. The receipt is not gimmicked. However it is homemade. I cheated to get the price to come out to exactly $10.00. With the Gemstones DVD, you get the password to the site which has a copy of the receipt that I used plus it has a spreadsheet file that allows you to enter a store name, address, product, price, tax rate, etc. Then it prints out a custom receipt. However, even if you don't get that, as you said, just purchase a product and keep the receipt. @PEto - I like it. It's the brainstorming like this that great effects come from. @Steven - Good one man! Actually, Diamond Jim has a version where he flings the card in the air and shoots it with a real gun.

Another thought in tandem with cap gun is to punch holes in the card to imitate bullet holes instead of writing “Bang”

I really like the idea of adding the cap gun. Another thought might be to add a blank card that has the word “BANG!” written on it that you could somehow work into the routine and toss it out at the moment of “shooting”…Need to do some more thinking as to how to make this work…Food for thought!

Magicman: You can get that receipt at any store that you buy stuff from 😀 That’s an ordinary receipt, not gimmicked in any way, he really did buy a Rubik’s cube, and just kept the receipt for the performance. Remember, you don’t have to use the same items that Jeff did, you can use something cheaper (just make sure you get a separate receipt for it)

The photos really help — and this is one of those card tricks which even us non-card people like. Manipulating the cards proper, into behaving (or “looking”) like something other than what they are, is a Good Thing and beats “pick a card/here it is” any day of the week.
