The Queens royal jubilee
Wayne Dobson’s effect inspired me to come up with a variation of Wayne’s effect
I work most times without a jacket so no pockets available to do the switch
I also use one snap close coin purse instead of three
A white metal shim disc is permanently glued to the center of the coin purse not in view to the spectator as in Wayne’s routine
On the inside of the coin purse is glued a strong flat rare earth magnet near the quarter circle opening as in Wayne’s effect and a second magnet glued again on the inside of the purse but center to the white disc
Two metal shims colored red and blue are required
Easy to make or use from color changing brass chips
Set up. Remove three plastic poker chips as in Wayne’s routine
But the finish is achieved by sliding the colour shim to the magnet near the bottom magnet with your right or left thumb
White chosen… Move blue and red shim and hide under thumb covering the quarter circle opening
Blue chosen… Move the red shim disc to the magnet at the bottom of purse the blue is left . Covering the white disc and held in place by the magnet
Red chosen….. Leave held in place on top of the blue on top of the white held by the strength of the magnet
The rest is the same as Wayne’s great Idea!! Can work for Americas special events too..

As always, Mr. Dobson demonstrates his brilliant, magical mind. Many of his tricks are pretty simple and very straight forward. The key is the scripting and presentation. Watching him perform will provide any magician with an education in strong, funny, drama. This presentation doesn’t quite showcase the brilliance of his humor and scripting, but the trick is very strong. Thanks for sharing!

i use poker chips for a gambling theme……………….
