@Richard – I’m glad you mentioned the Elmsley (aka Ghost) Count. That’s one of those moves that most magicians think they can go out and perform almost instantly. But you’re right, it takes lots and lots and lots of practice to get that move to look good. I like you’re idea of always doing any count and making it look like an Elsmley. Very clever.

This is another great, small effect to carry in your pocket/wallet as an intro effect. What I really want to draw attention to, is the wonderful move known as the “Elmsley Count” this is the most in your face move that I have ever seen. The more comfortable you become with the count the more invisible the count becomes. I have had magician friends tell me they were surprised to know I used an Elmsley Count (it got passed them), mainly because I count all my cards in the same manner as the “Elmsley” even when doing a real count. Anyway I am a big believer in thanking those that came before us, so thanks Alex for what is my favorite move.
