Instead of the traditional make your coin disappear from here and appear over there, the astonishment is in the fact that everything is taken back to what it was before the trick started.

Very nice.

@Salmononius – thanks for the feedback. I love reading honest and – most importantly – specific feedback like this. Thank you!

Now, while I admit it isn’t 5 stars (I only gave it 4, and if I remember, I’ll write in the end why), this is something that would play strong to the right crowd (and as stated in the description, with the right presentation). I mean, come on. You put somebody under a trance, then prove it by showing that everything they imagined never really happened. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Almost forgot, the reason why it lost a star is because it uses fire. Now, for most people that wouldn’t be a problem, but for me personally, I don’t like playing around with fire. Although I’m sure that if somebody puts there mind to it, they could find a substitute for the matches (just off the top of my head, maybe a pendulum, since that is more commonly associated with hypnotism. The only downside is that 2 of the 3 climaxes of this effect rely on fire, so substituting it will reduce the effect of the trick).
