@Richard – Thanks for that story! I love hearing stuff like this. For a while my four favorite effects to perform were right out of LePaul’s book. I still perform this one along with the “Pyramid” Ace effect from his book (the name of the effect escapes me at the moment).

I was sitting at a little table that had been setup for me (place for my business card, flyers, photos, a place for me to reset, ect…), when the wife of the event coordinator asked to see something special. I showed her “Ace Bandage” and literaly knocked her off her feet, she made me promise not to move and went and got her husband and a couple of friends and had me repeat the effect, once again to huge effect. The visuals on this effect are very pretty (thinking about doing it strictly to music), and sold by the subtle visual misdirection (dropping the indifferent card to the LePaul show of the Ace, to the double lift.) I did make some changes, not crimping the card, I do not turn the deck face down after each card is pushed through. Once again Jeff, Thanks
